  • Huge parts lot available

Is there anyone in the West Coast area that is interested in buying a Large supply of XS1100 parts as a "lot sale"?
I have boxes (many boxes) of parts, as well as several parts bikes and one complete bike that I am thinking about getting rid of.
I am thinking about keeping my 80 Special, and selling everything else, to go buy a dirt bike.
The "complete" bike is Don Gringo. Some of you might know about this bike. It has a lot of history and is worth some serious consideration.
Considering the size of this Pile-O-Parts, it would only be feasible if it were a local sale. (4 bikes and at least one VERY full truckload of parts).
I am in San Jose CA

    Any interest?
    Mike

          Mike and Gary,
I think we have a good deal going here. We need to get together on this.

I am ready for a change.
If you guys are interested, lets figure something out. Pat, what can you tell me about the XL?
I was being slightly sarcastic when I said that I was looking for an XL250R. I said that simply because I know that you have one.
Ideally I was looking to get cash and buy something in the 400cc range, but if it is in good condition, I would like to look at the 250.
What year is it? Is it the mono-shock version or the oldie dual shock?

It's an 83 XL250R, Pro-Link (mono-shock). It's in fair condition, not great. I use it to go back and forth to work a couple of miles. It needs a re-bore and 2nd gear makes noise but works ok (I have another transmission set for when the rebuild comes). If you prefer cash for something better then that's ok too. I was looking at the chance to make some space for the 79 Honda Hawk CB400TII that I'm going to look at today (same bike I used to roadrace back in the day).

Either or both you and Gary can call me at (209) 578-0272.
