I tried to post my bike for sale but could not figure out the correct procedure. Anyway, I just got it running after 5 years in storage, 1980 G model, I'm not giving it away, asking $6,000 clfloyd46@yahoo.com
Bike is in Seattle, thanks, Floyd

    Wow. Helluva first post.

    Hi my name is John!

Good luck with your sale. Enjoy riding it in the interim. You may decide not to sell.

            Hey Floyd,

Posting here in this forum is the same as posting in the FOR SALE FORUM. Do NOT use the classifieds, although they seem to be working again, NOBODY looks there, and that's why we created the For Sale Forums instead. You have to click on the Bikes For Sale forum so that you can see the other for sale items, and THEN click on the NEW THREAD button and post your advert.

To post photos, you need to use an off site photo hosting site, like www.photobucket.com , upload to that, and then get the posting link and put it in the post/thread.

As you may have seen from the responses here....$6K is about twice what the BEST condition bikes will go for. IF it were in the UK, then perhaps you could get that much.
Just wanting to be honest about what these bikes are worth. Even though they are antiques, old doesn't make them valuable in itself. Okay, good luck!
