            So I hadn't done anything with this issue yet, I bought some other parts, and then pulled something in my back while helping my dad get his boat out of the water. No fun, and sure didn't want to be walking a 600 lb bike out of the garage.

            I checked the pressure 2 weeks ago after the ride and was at 32lb. did nothing since then, and went out to roll the bike out of garage for ride last night to go to pump the pressure.

            Tire seemed flat - checked it and only 5 lbs pressure. So sore back and all, I put the bike away.

            Another reason to buy new tires. Last parts order almost here, time to make another one!

              Hey the Brian,

              Sorry to hear about your back injury, but hopefully it's just MUSCULAR, and they will heal given rest, and eating plenty of protein to provide the amino acids and components necessary to help rebuild torn muscle tissue.

              As to the tire, aside from it possibly leaking past the rim, don't forget to check out the valve stem....possibly may be the OEM one, could be loosing air from there?? Instead having to go to the local service station for air, you should pick up a battery powered emergency electrical pump that can be used when on the road. JAT!.

                Thanks TC. Yes, muscle issue I believe. Just needs time. The real drag is not riding in the nice weather. But maybe it was all for the best with a bad tire.

                I agree with the pump idea, I had one but it broke in the spring when using on the kids bikes. So its another item for the shopping list. I gave the stem a turn to see if snug, but wasn't feeling up to much stooping over to check things out.

                Its all a good excuse to get those new tires I want. Just been minding the cash flow a bit.

                  Solved

                  It was the tires. Adding air to the old ones helped, but didn't really go away until I bought new.
