I'm new to this site. I have a 80 xs100 special. I'm putting 135 jets in my carbs. I'm wondering if that's enough. I have pod filters and 4-1 exhaust

Have you ridden it with the jets in it now ?
Check your plugs with what you have, write down the size and read your plugs to see if you need bigger jets.
You will get at least a start in determining jet size.

135 mains will have you spewing gas out the exhaust pipe! The '80, unless you have an EARLY ONE, should be 117.5 mains. I would NOT go above 120 until you tested as donebysundy stated.
