Factory Original?

One of our members was riding through the pine barrens last night and lost a rear peg.
His bike is am original 79 special its BamberBob we brought his bike to life about a year ago he at 70 rides all the time.

I am trying to determine if this would be original?? I cant find anything in my spares to match and have never seen this before? I have looks at all my bikes and Steve's interchange guide and have only come up with the usual square on the end

I don't know where that rear peg came from, but it's definitely not OEM for a '79 Special.

My SF has the original factory rear pegs, and they don't look anything like your photo.

I'm sure someone here knows where those pegs in your photo came from ... ?

LG foot peg

Hello Eastcoaster, I have a passenger footpeg off of an LG if that will work?
Does he need right or left or both?
They are a bit worn but the price is right!

I believe those pegs are what use to be referred to as " buddy pegs" They screwed into the swingarm on enduro style dirtbikes ..
