I would think so as long as the year and style match.
The only jetting in the 80-81 through the float bowl is the circuit for the choke
cold starting jet.
Now the earlier carbs would have the main and pilot jets in them. They would need to be the same as what was in there.
But can't say 100% ?

The answer is definitely maybe. The late XS650's run with Mikuni BS34 carburetors, but I can assure you that they are not the same as what's installed on the XS1100.

No it won't fit. Also the bowls are not all interchangeable between years of XS's. What year of carbs do you have. Basically there are three config's of carbs. 78/79 are referred to as early carbs. Then 1980 had a bastardized production line where the enrichment tube is slightly offset the in 81 they came out with a drain fitting in the bottom of the bowl.
