    Out of hibernation and have a story.

    Happy spring gents!

    It's been a while and some miles since I last logged in and boy has it been a wild several months.

    Part of which involved my getting brake-checked by a crazy lady for ZERO reason, in a horrible spot for her to do so in, and having to lay the old girl down without any lowers on(no, I wasn't following too closely, was ~40ft back at 20mph). Which wound up causing me to crack the stator cover all the way to the case. Have yet to do a full tear down and I know I may be in for some bad news, but hopes are high that I didn't do any internal damage. Will post current pics soon. And hopefully teardown pics soon after that.
    XS1100SG "Lucy Ferr" - Build project. Biltwell Tracker bars, octy delete, rerouted breather hose, mini turn signals, bar end mirrors, TC's fuse block, TKAT fork brace. No fairings. No windscreen. No hard bags. More to come...eventually...

    Dang that sucks! I low-sided last year, and had it back on the road in a week. Tough bikes! Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'!

      Wish I had the cash or supplies to get her back going that quick. Had a rough 7mo stretch of unemployment and then, after having an amazing career land in my lap about 2mo ago, I tear my acl. Now, I have a lot of free time on my hands...and wanna get **** done.

          To lay my SF down and slide under a school bus once with a passenger on for his first ride. I believe i have a spare cover if you need one.

            2007 Suzuki V-Strom 1000. (Just added 2024) pre-crashed.

            1975 Kawasaki S1 250. My first bike. Still have it. NO I'm not selling it!!

            Most bike problems are caused by a loose nut connecting the handlebars and the seat!!
