Hi All - 79 XS11 SF
Noticed smoke coming from around the ignition cover and left hand crank case cover the other day when the bike warmed up - also smelled like burning rubber (not oil necessarily but my nose could be playing tricks on me).
Noticed that the wire coming from the Ignition Cover along with the Neutral Indicator Switch Wire looks like it is melting and exposed now - pic below.
First Question - has this ever happened to anyone before and did it cause smoke?
Second Question - any suggestions on replacement wiring harness and neutral switch wire?
