  • Carb swap 1 and 3...possible?

So I have three banks of carbs sitting in front of me and all of them having something wrong with the third carb...the cursed one it would seem. Is it possible to swap out the third for a first carb? I know the second and fourth are out of the question because of the vacuum advance. Thanks ahead of time!

1 &3 can be swapped if you change the linkage and if you put 1 in 3's spot you'll need to drill and tap the hole for the idle speed screw. I've done it but the only place I could find the correct tap was online from China.

3 can be swapped for 1 with just a linkage change though.

I completely agree with the titling of evil on that third carb....let the exorcism begin! I looked at the threading and you weren't kidding....that is super fine! You wouldn't happen to have handy the information for what you ordered?
