    Cheapish XJ 1100 Air Filter

    After considering modding the filter frame and inserting washable material for my (disgusting, apparently never changed) air filter on the new-to-me XJ1100, I spent some time searching online. Most places I see, I can get a NOS filter for about $45 after shipping.

    However, this site (http://www.boats.net/parts/detail/pa...451-00-00.html) seems to have them for about $38 all in. If anyone cares -

    I'm relatively averse to changing as-designed airflow dynamics which might require rejetting (pods), and a NOS filter seems to cost less than buying a suitable K&N for the hack job.

    I didn't try to actually buy one, but many times that boats.net offers many things for our bikes, but when you try to actually buy, you get a "Not in stock". But if you can get them, thanks for the info to others.
