  • Sidecover ?

I tried looking at CrazySteve's parts interchange but it was unclear in answering my question. Tried PMing him also but no response so I've come to y'all.

Here's my question; Is the right side cover on a G the same mounting and shape as an SG or SH? If not, what will fit?

Not sure, but believe shape is the sme. The G top mount IIRC is like the H having rubber bumpers it hooks over, where as the SG top mount portion has two slots in cover that hook over two metal loops on top of frame. The SH may also be that way, but again can't remember for sure. The XS11 factory parts list with pictures may show the top mounting associated with the year differences.

Sorry Greg, got the left and right side confused. The right sidecover top mount has the metal hook on frame with the rubber boots over them on the G and H models. It's the left side cover on the G and H that has the round rubber bumper at top the sidecover hooks over.

Greg the SF has the same shape as the '80G

I'll run down the shop in a sec. to check the fitment, concerning the posts and grommets, and I'll get back to ya.

The seat pans on the two are the same also.

Ok I'm back the right sidecovers of the SF and '80G are the same, as in shape and mounts, the left sidecovers are the same also except the SF has slotted mounts on top and the '80G has holes otherwise same same.
