  • 78 E model carb hose routing

Hi guys I need some help.
I've got a stock 78 e model with the vacuum petcock. It has NEVER had the fuel line octopus. I pulled my carbs over a year ago to r&r. I didn't take a picture of the hose routing. I'm just now healthy enough after shoulder surgery to get the bike back together.
I know that the left side of the tank feeds the right bank of carbs and the right side of the tank the left bank. I have the vacuum advance hose hooked up to the port at the front of #2. What i don't remember is where the top set of carb T's hook up and where the petcocks get their vacuum, and where the two small fittings at the top of the airbox connect.
I can find diagrams where the oct has been removed and modified but I can't find a diagram for my non octy e model. I have a factory service manual and it dosent show anything.
If I've missed a post please point me in the right direction. I'm ready to go riding.

Glad you are well enough to ride.
The 78 E (standard model) never had the octopus.
Vacuum advance should be to the #2 carb port.
The top set of carb T's hook up to the two small fittings at the top of the airbox.
The petcocks get their vacuum from the manifold nipples. Doesn't matter which ones. I use 2 for the left petcock & 3 for the right. Only reason is it puts the vacuum hose under the tank a little more, for looks. That's just my OCD kickin in.
79 F full cruiser, stainless brake lines, spade fuses, Accel coils, modded air box w/larger velocity stacks, 750 FD.
    79 SF parts bike.
