  • My 1978 xs1100

I got a 2008 Raider 1900 last summer. It is a Bad Ass machine and I love it. Was going to sell my 1100. I was needing a back tire for the Raider until I could get it on I started riding my xs1100 again. No way can I sell my 1100 those bikes are one of a kind. As the old saying goes best bike ever build. So I got two bikes both first year they came out for Yamaha. I like the torque of the Raider but I love the quickness and RPM,s of the 1100. So to other XS1100 owners hang on to them.

I'm trying to work through several comfort issues...I recent got to drive (79 XS1100SF) mine for the first time the other day...loved the speed and the way
it handled...due to short legs and pins in my left knee...not the most comfortable bike for me to drive and shift...Hopefully, I can work these issues out...It doesn't help I'm 67yrs old either and I have been driven hard and
put away wet too many times...paying the price now...
