Anyone have any experience with IRC tires? Looking at putting a set of duotours on my 80g.

I haven't run them on a motorcycle, they make mountain bike tires and I have used them.

They seem "pricey" at $120-130 for a rear tire compared to the Shinko 712 and 230 which I like a lot for $40-50 less for a rear tire. Or step up another $30 and get a Dunlop Elite II.

BTW, ZRX carbs have the same spacing as the XS11... http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35462

      Don't

      I put a set on my 'G'...
They straddled the rain grooves cut into the interstate/slab on the roads here in Calif. It was very unsettling to ride with the bike walking across the road at it's whim. The straight tread groove in the center of the tire just wants to follow the groove patterns.
I pulled the front off and replaced it with a shinko.
      MUCH better!

      - When the rear wears out it will get a shinko too.

I have also tried the ircs horrible grip. I went with the shinkos and love them, they are cheaper too!
