Need Help - Tell me the airbox secret

    Yes, I have those on now. You can run them dry or wet, your choice. I just lightly sprayed them with PAM cooking spray.

    I haven't had to clean mine yet but trbig has them on his XJ and said don't use high pressure washer and be careful with blowing them with air. The DO come apart with abuse like that.

      I guess that's the down side of pods...I'll have to remember these details
      when I switch over to pods...I guess I'll have to follow the jetting chart also
      ...crap , more money for jets...it never ends does it...lol

        Actually just run it with the stock setup and watch your plug color.

            Thanks...Haven't synced the carbs yet...didn't get a chance to fix the air
            box...Mother nature had other plan...5 minutes after I got the cover off it
            ...started to drizzle...10 minutes after I got back into the house it started
            coming down pretty good...tomorrow, I hope

              This is the tool to get the carbs onto the manifolds and the airbox onto the carbs. It's a radiator hose tool.
