that's only true if you cap off or join up the RUN/RES spigots and run the fuel lines from the PRIME spigots. The tap positions will then be RESERVE/OFF/OFF.
If you cap off or join up the PRIME spigots and run the fuel lines from the RUN/RESERVE spigots you will have OFF/RUN/RESERVE available.Fred Hill, S'toon

On both my XS, I run just one fuel tap on each, the left side, makes it much easier for hooking up the fuel valve with just one feed line, one filter, to a T to feed the 2 carb pairs.2H7 (79) owned since '89

I'm guessing you're not worried about the extra fuel you're missing out on in the bottom of the other side of the tank... Which ACTUALLY I'd rather do it that way anyway because it IS simpler, I just don't know if there's a significant amount fuel I'd be missing out on that way. I'm assuming it can't be that much if YOU did it, right? Or do you just not care?? Lol>>Insert clever statement here<<Comment
