    My headlight left with my fairing...

    I removed the fairing from the front, and disconnected the wire harness that powers the headlight & turn signals... I'm now replacing the headlight with a 7" headlight with integrated turn signals & fork bracket for mounting, and I need to know which connections to use in this medley of wires. I'm sure I can figure it out because I'm pretty good with wiring, just figured I'd ask you experts first & save myself a little trial & error.

      I just did this same swap, the harness you have in your hand is actually an adapter to the factory harness. Follow it up and you will see it spliced in. There will be a white square connector for the headlight and 4 bullet connectors for the turns. I was very relieved to see that nothing was cut or modified during the fairing install. Good luck!

          Are you putting a new headlight in the fairing or are you getting rid of the fairing and putting the headlight on the bike?

                      Sorry, did you say medley or melee?
                      "Venturered" 80 XS1100G - "DoraMax" getting sort of resto/destro ed.

                      Yeah it's a pretty blue, but just because you're old is no excuse to buy a bagger. Fortunately I have wrenches.
