  • Fuel tank needed...

Hey guys. I'm in the midst of my ground-up on Big Red (waiting on word on some second-hand jugs) and I've decided to go with a powdercoat job on the bike. Unfortunately, the gas tank on my '78E was laid down and had a big ol' dent in it which was filled with bondo. I stripped it down to find a massive dent and a bunch of brass plugs from where they pulled it out as far as they could. However, they can't fill in the dent with powdercoat, so I need to know if anyone has a spare they're looking to get rid of? Or maybe I can get suggestions on getting it fixed? TIA.

Somebody on the list has been talking lately about some sort of a special filler that is compatible with powder coating. Failing that, depending on how deep your pockets are, there are a few on Ebay most of the time..
