Mikes XS - Good to work with!

    Lex,

A bunch of the guys here have and continue to purchase from Mikes. I have bought a couple items myself. I have their 16mm bore front master on my XS11. You can find masters other places and maybe save a dollar or two but the one from Mikes IS PROPERLY THREADED for the Yamaha threads.

Never heard of anyone having issues.

I've purchased a lot of items from Mike's XS, and I can recommend them as good source for many parts with good prices and good service.

Excellent guys just the endorsements I needed. I have never been one to haggle over a few $$ bucks, time & quality is more important to me.

Mike's XS does have a few losers. There are probably fewer of them if you don't have an XS650. My biggest complaint with them is that they don't take known bad parts off the shelf.

For brakes (and a lot of other stuff), I like Michael Mercury Morse at 650Central.com. I have never heard of any junk coming from him.

              Brake parts ordered

Brake parts ordered. Got the rear master diaphragm from NOS Pennsylvania and the front Master OEM replacement complete master from MikesXS. I have owned this bike since 1984 so it has some sentimental value and it was given to me by an uncle who's is no longer with me. It still has not turned 50k miles. I also replaced all the brake lines and banjo's to stainless. I will have it painted for a third time this summer but trying to find some replica tank and side fairing badges that are reasonable. I will try to be up to date more on the board

              Thanks for the assistance fellows!
