For sure, all efforts are appreciated, and we are here to help each other when something doesn't agree in what we post as a collective. I don't want a monument built to me or anyone with respect to being all right, all the time.

I don't question mack and his experience, I have my experience with this as well, and we have a duty to those that read this thread later to put forth the best, most likely and most correct info.

I do hope when something is questioned, that the overall logic of information is used to come to the best general conclusion we can.

And with great respect, the only glaring issue with the great compilation mack has shared with us is 120/125 is not what any SG came with that I am aware of in the USA.

Have not seen 120/125 shared on the board until now, and when I am looking at the factory manual and the specific supplement bound into the factory manual, printed in the same year the SG was produced, the writing is on the wall as to which is most likely correct.

What I see Schming posted was from Clymer, correct?

      Bonz

I'm not saying this is gospel bonz. The thread I mentioned in the beginning of this, someone was trying to look up the fiche spec's but the current yamaha fiche had deleted most of the specials. Since I made this chart from the old config, I thought I'd share it. If anybody out there also wants access to the old fiche data, here is a link: http://store.speedandsportinc.com/
I like it for everything not just jets. Always a pleasure Bonz. if we all thought a like, this would be no fun right!
Stay safe and be alert every ride.

You bet, mack. Pleasure from this side of the border as well. Wonder if the Canadian info was as or even more "odd" in some cases like info I have seen over the years here in the states.

        Cheers.
