I am going after this one on Saturday.
Can anyone tell if this is a 78 or a 79 from the Pix?
I am picking up site unseen Saturday
    Thanks

    The last one .

The last one ? famous last words... I have six of them now ..
The kickstarter indicates to me it is a 1978 , A check of the serial numbers should confirm that. Enjoy increasing the herd. kind of like an addiction isn't it ?

Color is correct for a 1978E.

For every "last one" you find, one will pop up at a price and distance you can't refuse, and when you stop looking somehow they find you. It doesn't help that you seem to be willing to travel farther than most

There are worse hobbies to have. My wife looks at it as she'd rather me working in the garage than take up hanging around bars.

Yep, a '78E. Color/striping is right, as is the chrome plated kicker. Looks very complete, the only non-original parts I see are the mirrors....
Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two
