  • Seat covers

I am at the point I need to replace the cover on my seat. I have seen several threads where people have gotten quality work from companies doing foam and a newly designed cover but I thought maybe this might be an opportunity to combine all into one thread for those thinking about their seat. If we define who we got good work and bad work from a vender and tie that to the year and model then we have a list with references.

What I want is a quality cover made that has the same design as my original. I have a 1980 G standard model and my foam really is not bad but the pleather from sun is starting to rip. So who has gotten this and who would you suggest.
To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.

Corbin in Hollister,CA. would do what you want with pics. They are a bit pricey, but the quality represents that.

Thanks Moto that one I will check with after I see what suggestions people have. Pricey is ok as long as it is good fit and looks original, quality is what I am looking for.

I had Sargent do my seat in 2003. I don't know if you noticed it, but it still looks great. It even survived a fire that destroyed my airbox. They're in Jacksonville, FL.

I just ordered an SG cover from B&H.

            http://www.motorcycleseatcovers.com/...95&Make=YAMAHA

Other(s) have reported some trouble getting their on-line order serviced promptly and correctly, but it seems everyone was satisfied with the product.

To be fair I really should only speak about my experience.

I'll report about my experience when I receive the cover.

Marty have definitely seen your seat have actually set on it when we were in Summersville and it is quality so I plan on checking with them to see if they do seat covers like original was made.
