    Gaffer, perhaps I'm not such a fool as I am a nice guy.

    I'm not stupid - I know what individual parts go for. I can add them up.

    I'm not trying to make money off of fellow listers.

      i understand that totally sorry if i offended you didnt mean to in any way ,money aint everything and theres great reward from helping fellow bikers im just sooooooooooo gutted im over here i like the fairing and bag racks and sissy bar and know ill end up paying out at least what you want for the whole thing just for the fairing maybe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just cannot get the parts i want over here for good prices even if i can find them thereS an xs meet over here soon maybe this will turn stuff up by stupid fool i meant YOURE TOO NICE like you say!!!!!

          if it goes to parts... i would like first shot at the seat and the exhaust system.... mt pan is shot and my stock pipes are running out of original metal to patch too..lol I might have found me a parts bike local but he wants $500 and it has second gear prob bad

              Ben. Looks like you have a very good organ donor on your hands. You can make a couple hundred on this thing parting it out. I hate to see another one gone, but, so that others may live...

              So far, my 78E was the oldest bike of any active forum members. It was serial number 00670. I made a couple hundred by parting it out, and what I kept was worth hundreds more (engine and Jardine headers). Place a ad in the classifieds section here. It worked for me.
