  • Octy mounting

I have a fuel octy I that I need to remount. I have the octy and the bracket for it I just don't remember where and how it mounts to the bike. Does it mount to the carbs or to the frame. Any help would be appreciated also pictures always work :-).

    Thanks again in advance

    OCTY Mounting

OCTY Mounts between/above Carb #1 & Carb #2. The OEM bracket attaches to the left side/top of the #2 carb.

If you look up the carb parts on Partzilla.com they will have a nice breakdown. If you don't yet have the OEM service manual in digital there is a link somewhere here....just search for the manual. It will have a couple nice pics too.

        Hey, Ozz -

Here is a diagram of the Octy and its plumbing:

And here is where you can download the service manual:

        Ringler

Scroll down through the "Resources for riders" section on the right side of the page, and you will find the manual.
