Just pulled up at a junction and everything died, got going again think it must be electrical and possibly right hand control?

Hey Rob,
First off, do you still have the OEM glass fuses, or have you converted to the solid ATCO style fuses?? The glass ones can look good but be bad, also the brass clips get weak, crack, etc. and loose their grip.
Secondly, you may need to check/clean the emergency shut off switch.
Thirdly, the main key switch may also need cleaning.
A little more rare, the emergency tip over shut off switch under the tank.

If 'everything' died (ignition, all lights, horn, everything), the problem is in the main power circuit; there's a connection at the positive battery cable (red wire) that goes to the fuse panel (fuse, bad connection), then to the ignition switch. If you have power to the switch but none coming out, it's the switch or it's plug. If the taillight still works but nothing else, then it's the switch or the connection at the brown wire coming out of the switch. If everything except the ignition works, then it's probably the kill switch on the handlebar.Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two
