The fittings on all mine look like the lines you just got. I'm not too worried about wear from flexing since the grommets pretty much prevent the line from moving between the grommet and the caliper. When the forks are compressed it's the long section of the line that moves, and I don't anticipate a problem there. Personally I like them better without the big plastic thing on them, but if you like it and you wanted it, call 'em up.
I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

'79 XS11 Standard, Jardine 4/1, Dyna DC1-1 Coils, 145 mains, 45 pilots, plastic floats - 25.7mm, XV920 fuel valves, inline fuel filters, speed bleeders, Mikes XS pods, spade-type fuse block, fork brace, progressive fork springs/shocks, manual petcocks, 750 FD, Venture cam chain tensioner, SS brake lines

It was just a surprise to not have it the second time around. I'm good with it. They also have a lifetime warranty

I need to move forward and get the bike on the road. With as little free time as I've had, it's probably a few weeks out now.
