Don't let 'em get to you LoHo. You're the ONLY one on this forum who can render a valid opinion on how well XS11 brakes work using only the backer plates.

(you had to know you were going to catch some crap for that one - but it's all in fun)

Not down at all, I have it coming, otherwise y'all wouldn't even know about it.

          Yeah, Larry -

As Doug said, it's all in fun!

Just a little good-natured ribbing, you know ...

BTW, I've always enjoyed your sense of humor ...

Yes Larry we appreciate your honesty and humor so check them brakes better so we will always have you here to pick on. There is nothing worse than an idiot with no one to pick on. Some more advice from an idiot, make sure and do a good bleed job on the brakes. They tend to get bubbles inside from heat and metal on metal can be a lot of heat, If you do not bleed them I'll pick some more.

            Have a good day
To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.

I must admit, I do miss the pretty pinwheel of sparks from the rear rotor when riding at night....

(That was a joke, for those of you anxious to admonish me for my negligence.)

                  Hey ...

Whatever makes you more visible to other drivers at night is a good thing, right Larry?
