I live in a region known as "forgottonia" because our state .gov sees it only as a place from which to drain tax dollars. Now that all the employers have also been chased out, there is no more tax money being extracted either. Suffice to say, it's sparsely populated here. No other Eleveners in the neighborhood. That means I have to ask you all the stuff that I should call up a buddy, neighbor or my weird ex vintage racer cousin to ask.

Question three: How do I remove my seat (1980 1100G std)? In the old days the first move was to grab something and push/pull to release a tab sort of thing, but I'm not accomplishing anything that way. It is the dresser model with a two level perch, if that matters.

Take a look at the seat, about two thirds of the way back, there are a couple of bolts there hanging down from the seat base. Loosen the nuts up, maybe three turns, there is a bolt on each side of the seat. Then slide the seat forward, until the nuts clear the slot of the frame, and lift the seat, up, back as long as the nuts are clear, and up again to slide it out of the other slot. You can get used to it, but its a hassle at first, personally , I never tighten the nuts up, but dont dare trailer it with the seat loose like that.
