        If ya' get real sneaky, end of May through Sept. makes for great riding weather in the high mountains out this way.

          Smokin' the rear tire at 80 is a good one! Yes, that would cause rpm variation, LOL! Otherwise, something besides a tire is being smoked around here...

            .. or some good medication talking. Apparently in the little diagram of gears posted, depending on how "efficiently" you crank the "A" gear depends on how fast the "C" gear spins? lol.. All those interlocked teeth mean nothing.

                Good sync., it reads 80mph @ 5k.
                Just more port velocity needed to compensate for outa' sync carbs........and reduces fighting against mother nature, kinda like a really heavy headwind.
