  • Alarm on the XS

Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there uses an alarm on their bike and if so, what type and where does one put it (so little space on the bike!)?

Has anyone connected the tilt-sensor to the bikes horn (or hazard flasher unit, as on from 80 sg) themselves?

    Any info appreciated.....

    thanks,

    alarming

My first question would be, why would anyone want to steal an old bike instead of some newer machine with some value left. Aside from that, there are lots of aftermarket alarms available that have pretty small guts. I think a Kryptonite lock and or a bike cover is probably just as good or better.

      Why alarm?

Your reasoning is sound, but someone wanted to have my rather beat and worn 79SF some years ago. I admit I became a bit careless - it was taken from my homeyard, it was not locked...so I am double careful now...
