  • Update on Czekus21

Hello all. Been a long time since I've been on here. So long, I forgot my password. Lol. Now that that's reset, here's my update. I reenlisted back into the US Army in 2009. several enlistments, moves and a deployment to Afghanistan, I am now being medically discharged. Currently enrolled in MMI at Fort Bliss, Tx. I'll be relocating to Phoenix early next year to continue on with my motorcycle certifications. I bought an XS11SG from one of our members a few years ago. needless to say, it was all jacked up and, regardless of what he said before I brought it home, couldn't run. (787/79 carbs parts not interchangeable, pick up on the vacuum advance typical hour glass issues in several places). I did get it running but not to great. The bike (Ugly Rat bike) is getting a total rebuild. Definitely a labor of love. If I can re-figure out how to post pics I will. If not, we'll just have to "run into each other" on the road.
Even though the Ugly Rat Bike (URB) will be dependable, fast, loud, and ugly, It will not be my daily ride. That honer goes to Mosquito (13 Star Stryker) Hope I didn't bore ya'll but it has been years since I've posted anything.

Welcome back - and thank you for your service.

To post pics you need to upload them to a (free) photobucket account first. Then use the pic icon in the editor and insert the link address. You can copy the links from photobucket using their "share link" utility.
I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

Welcome back! Hope the medical is for something that you can live with easily! My family is all Army or Airforce, so I know the drill. The bike will come back just take your time and ask if you have forgotten something or are not sure. As you well know, the ONLY stupid question is the one you DIDN'T ask!
Thanks for your service, for the second time around!
