^ obviously that's theory and hearsay, but that was my initial thought
With a lot of research and contemplation, I've figured a few things now. Yes Electrical supply greater than stock will be very important. I likely see a scavenge pump being necessary to return oil to the engine with the turbo being mounted low. Also want to run a water injection system that will kick in at a medium psi level.
Of course the GM DIS ignition conversion with the megasquirt.. great electrical demands.
Has anyone done a radical alternator conversion on an XS/XJ 1100 engine to boost the electrical power to over twice the stock level?
This is definitely what I need on that front.
