    '79 xs sf naked and stripped

    Still a couple months left with the build but most the hard stuff done. R1 front, ground frame welds, 1196, soon to have sneaky pete no2, no exposed wiring. I have a ton more pictures but upload g this off my phone so this is all I have patience for.

                      Well cleaning process is most important, but no I didn't break down except for a couple covers. The motor was rebuilt a couple years ago and didn't want to go through that process again. Rustoleum heat semi gloss. Three coats sanding in between coats. Replaced all nuts and bolts with stainless one by one. Nice thing is that when you scratch it you can just sand a lil bit and spray a patch and it will blend right in to the older paint. Also if you seals around valve cover or any covers have a lil oil on them from time to time it won't be noticeable as if it was a flat heat paint.
