Amazon reg/rec

so... i blew my reg/rec last night like an idiot... amazon has this.

has anyone tried these.. the low price ($30) scares me but i almost cant pass it up so cheap. summit racing wants almost $100.

any opinions?

Well ...

IMO, the reg/rect is not an item that you should try to buy "on the cheap".

I suggest you get one from Tony (Geezer), one of our members.

It is a very high-quality unit, and has proven itself to be reliable.

And, as a bonus, Tony's reg/rect will improve your charging just off idle/at low rpms.

Hey HondaKid,

Geezer's unit is great, and also has a lifetime warranty!

However, the Amazon unit does say XS11, and there are 2 user feedback comments...you might try writing them, asking them about if they really had XS11's, any installation problems, etc.!
