Reason I ask is because Jets wants $25 for shipping. I'm shipping to a US address but the payment is coming from canada. Doesn't seem fair at all. So I'm looking at other options.

Make SURE it's genuine Mikuni! I had some problems with the K&L needles that was solved via genuine parts.

I always buy mine from here. They are in Canada and shipping is a little more reasonable at @ $15 last time I ordered.

            Hey Blank,

MikesXS parts are Mikuni Like! Also, look at the URL of the Jets r Us link you posted....the last part starts with KL and in K&L, the crappy ones!!!

            JETSrUs also shows another item:

            http://www.jetsrus.com/individual_pa...7_976k_su.html
And it looks more closer to a Genuine Mikuni type.

Here's a different one they say is for the 80 but also the 81....but it also says it's GENUINE MIKUNI, and has the same prefix #.

What I found was item #48-5019 that says quality made in Japan, but the large image didn't show the Mikuni stamp.

+1, I don't like the metal washer though, I would rather replace with fiber, JMHO

                      Nope not genuine Mikuni.

The Mikuni needles sit higher in their seats unlike the one in your pic which is flush with the seat.
