  • Fairing.....fugly

Picked up this TAA vintage fairing for short money...."adjusted" the mount and it works good, cut down the windscreen a bit and it needs a bit more...actually needs a new windscreen but it works....man is it ugly....now to find some ugly bags.....

    I don't know, Mark ...

It doesn't look that bad ... but then again, I can't see the front or the view from behind the fairing.

Do you have any other pics?

    Nice-looking G, by the way ...

Its really not that bad, The wind protection is great and will work good when it gets cold....which is why I put it on...

I like the bike much better with no fairing but it is what it is....

I just took a windscreen off mine that was too short. I got so much buffeting on my helmet at highway speeds that it would make my eyeballs go wonky. Something to think about if you reduce the height on yours.
I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

I have a small fairing (see my avatar) and it really does help with the wind. I took it off once. At highway cruising it def increased my heart rate.

              Pretty decent-looking, IMO ...

But yes, do be careful when changing the windshield height ... a small change can make a huge difference in the amount of buffeting you experience.

+1 on ugly fairing and bags but function trumps form

where are we going, and why are we in this hand basket?
