XJ Pegs will fiot your 80 also.

I don't think it was mentioned yet but the XJ Maxim pegs will fit your '80 XS as well.

The interchange guide above is a valuable resource for this kind of thing.

I just purchased a set of XJ Maxim pegs for my SG. The style is very very slightly different with a bit of chrome on the end of the peg but otherwise they looked identical. I have not yet received them or I would post a photo.
