  • Front brake hose

    Previous owner put apes on and a really long hose......my question is, if I cant find an oem hose, what has been used to replace it that might be more readily available?.......i'm going to check with an old Yamaha dealer tomorrow,,,hoping for n.o.s.....

    I do have a few stock rubber lines here that are new as well.

      Stainless is the way to go. "Russel" also makes good SS lines and provide an assortment of lengths and various banjo 's. On my SF and LH, I used 19 inch lines with a straight banjo at the "y" and a 30 degree banjo at the front brake.My bars are stock.

        I will vouch for Russell. Had them on for years with no issues. Just take a few measurements and all the hose lengths and parts are available online. Also, you will just love the hard lever feel SS lines give.
