I assume the compound is suitable only for the rear. I say this because XS650 front pads fit in the caliper, and the listing shows no XS650 application. It should fit your needs perfectly.

Can't explain why the XS650 does show up in the fitment list, but..I have versions on the front and rear of both my triples, and I really like them.
