    Vi Con metric crank seals?

I found a place in Denver called Whisler Bearing. They carry the rubber coated ignition and stator crank seals. Good for 250 deg. F. $4.50 each. They also carry Vi Con seals. Difference is higher temp. 300 deg. F. rubber in the seal and it also is an exposed metal exterior housing. $12.95 each. Looks like a fork seal. Which seal style works best? Has anyone ever heard of Vi Con seals?

I never heard of Vi Con seals but that doesn't mean anything. I would go with the 250 Deg., no reason that won't work. MHO

You may have heard them say Viton, which is a high temperature elastomer which has replaced Buna-N as a seal material used in high temperature situations. And yes, it is more expensive.

Thanks for the info on the seals. I will check out Rocket Seals and their prices. I didn't know there is a ride planned in Colorado. Depending on time and work load here at school, I'm interested in a meet and greet with everyone and possibly riding. Any routes planned out yet?

Sorry guys, I'm, up to my ear lobes in problems. Not to mention that the G is not yet back together from a valve check. Hopefully next time.
I cut a valve cover gasket out of a manila file folder, and I want to see how it does, so I will need to do a ride.
