  • Can somebody point me to the speedo spacer repair using vacuum hose?

Tried the search, went through the repair section etc., but couldn't find this repair. Someone with a larger brain than mine used some vacuum line cut lengthwise to make a spacer for the speedo or tach. I need the basic info and the thread so I can repair my speedo, it is buzzing like a mad wasp right now, and driving me nuts. As per usual, thanks!

Yep. TC's weather stripping repair is the one I remember.

You can still buy the dampers from Yamaha 3H3-83513-00-00

It's #13 if I understand the problem correctly.

Yep that's the one Marty, but 14 bucks is Yama-silly pricing. ;-)
