petcock to air filter pod clearence????

wuss up guys, so basically have a new problem right now. i was putting everything back together on the bike and installed the pod filters and put the tank back on and as you guys can see from the pic the petcocke nipples are hitting the air pods and this is while the tank is not even fully seated. any solutions to this problems? i was thinking taking the petcocks and switching them (left one to the ride side and vice versa) but will that cause any problems? let me know and thx in advance[IMG][/IMG]

From what I can see it might give you a little wiggle room.
Those filters look like the Emgo, can't tune without modding them. The rubber lip inside covers the air jets so it's cut the lip away or add extensions to move the filters away from the carbs a bit.

Yes. Do what UD said. You'll fix two problems at once. Put extensions in there and it will run better and possibly eliminate your clearance issue.
