I need to replace the Molex connector running through my Pacifico fairing wall, snice it is broken anyways. The stock connector is a 12 pin but then I also have 2 10 awg and 2 12 awg wires going into the fairing. So if I could find a 16 pin bulkhead pass through connector of any type that could accommodate up to 10 awg wires it would be amazing. If I had to split it up into 2 separate connectors that would be fine as well.

Nate,
Can you find a $similar 14 or 16-pin connector and 'split' the #10 and #12 wires?
That's more or less how the XJ1100 dealt with the extra power from the Regulator/Rectifier, the Red and Black wires were doubled to use two terminals each to connect to the Harness instead of just one.

Also look at a "canon plug". Military uses those for that application.
Ebay has these.. not sure how they work..

And lastly... Why can't you be like the typical XS11 guy where you electrical tape the whole thing together, then hold everything in the hole with a huge blob of silicone?Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.

Nate- At the shop I use something called a "Harting" connector, which comes in various pin-counts, 16-pin being one of them. However, they are not small, nor are they pass-through. They disconnect from each other.

Something else that I'm thinking: if you look into Amp connectors (Amphenol), we have 16-pin connectors. You can throw some ferrules on the end of the wire to reduce their size, and be able to get them inside the Amp connector's terminals. The Harting connector will definitely fit them. If it was me, I'd just throw some insulated spade terminals on every wire, and enclose them in some shrink tubing, since you hardly pull your fairing.1979 XS1100F
