Funny how you get to know your bike by the way it feels when its running...so having this off idle stumble when accelerating through the gears...power delivery from the engine should be linear throughout the rev range...however it was not...I would have to work the revs up over 3000 before normal throttle acceleration would happen...new plugs,,oil filter...stilll did it...A while back when I had a stuck float bowl and gas got into the airbox...when I dis-assembled the airbox I pulled out the dirty/clogged up air filter(foam thing)...didnt have a new one right then so I cleaned and degreased the old foam filter and re-used it...the results were improve airflow and smooth ,linear accelration from off idle...the way its supposed to be and feel...becoming ever so fine tuned the old girl...keep on ridin'...
