  • Handlebar swap

Just removed Goldwing bars and installed what I believe to be Standard bars on my Special.
Noticed that these bars have significantly less weight to them than the GW bars. The ends look like they are factory plugged.

Question is, are they gonna feel different?

Can't find my original Special bars. Must have given em away.

Well . . . I lasted a 30 minute ride from Saginaw to Flint before I rode straight to a shop and replaced them. Some think they're okay. Some think the Special buckhorn bars are comfortable . . .

May keep a lookout for a set of the older style fully adjustable Heli-Bars.....90-95 ST1100 application.
