source for stainless brake line kit?

Hi I remember reading last here a recommendation for someone selling complete stainless brake line kits for our bikes. I can't seem to find it now, can anyone help me out? I'm going to start collecting parts for some upgrades this year.

I bought these and they fit great. Note it's a single piece for the rear.

Two of them have been discussed on this forum: Chacal of XJBikes.com and Techna Fit.

You may also source from numerous places and assemble them yourself. Z1 Enterprises is where I got mine. Bremzen offers custom lines for the XS11, but my experience with them was extremely bad and I only recommend avoiding them if they come up in your search.

FWIW--- I took (2nd thread link) Ian's lead and ordered the Techna-fit SS lines (front and rear). They are plug-n-play, and they are really swell. No problems whatsoever.

            YAMXS1100E
            YAMXS1100F
            YAMXS1100LG

but my bike is a SF, will any of those sets work?

If you can measure, they'll do custom at the same price.

I see now that the LG kit should work, says it fits XS1100SF, SG, SH MODELS. but does the 1980 midnight special have the weird linked braking feature? Maybe i'm over thinking this, if it says it fits the SF I guess I should just order it. Hard to decide between clear or black coating, any thoughts?

Depends on the look u want. I have black, and it does the same job as the clear, lol.

The XS1100LG and XS1100SF have the same brakes. The LH has linked brakes.

I went w/ black, as I wanted an original look while upgrading safety.

                          Kev,
When Ken ( Newbie) ordered SS lines for his the freight/duty/ clearance doubled the cost by the time he received them in Canada.
I do not know what shipping option he chose. We can not ask him as he died last year.

                            Brake Lines

The Techna Fit lines do not come with the grommets that are on the OEM lines. The ones from Chacal do. The Techna Fit lines are less expensive.
