You could try making your own replacement windshield...

Or order from JCWhipme or others that sell replacements. They are available.

      http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/...&storeId=10101

Long link. If it doesn't work, www.jcwhitney.com then click on motorcycles, then scroll down on the left to windshields, the page 4.

I got a replacement windshield for my78E Vetter fairing from Dennis Kirk

Do not get the screws from them. Get them from Craig Vetter

          Different

If you have the Vetter/Pacifco/Yamaha. Easy way to tell, do the turn signals (Same as the rear) in the fairing have a Yamaha part number and mount horizontally beside the headlight. Or go to my pics at http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4287125273
By the way if you see a headlight on eBay you had better get it they aren't available anymore either. Same as 78XS11E Standard headlight just remove from bucket.

If it's like mine the bend and the screw holes are different from the ones I've seen. I have one from an old fairing that was given to me and one from a Vetter Windjammer III that definitely do not fit.

See my other post about this fairing http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread...&threadid=3969
Good luck and welcome to the list.

I'm under the impression than "most" vetter windshields are the same shape. I ordered a replacement from Motorcycle Accessory Warehouse last year and it's been fine. Quick and affordable shipping too.

They have 3 slipstreamer options currently ranging from $42 to $53 at:

            http://www.mawonline.com/slipstre.htm#Windshields

            or search at:

            http://www.mawonline.com/

I also replaced the nylon bolts which are still available at the vetter website
