Anybody remember the name of the helmet that had the HUD built in with telemetry? Anyone have one? Does it work?

    Skully AR-1 helmet?

    Mack,

Are you talking about the Skully AR-1 helmet?

It integrates onboard GPS, a rear-view camera, hands-free device control, and a true HUD display.

The rear-view camera gives a full 180 degree view, the helmet runs an Android OS, and it utilizes Bluetooth tech to connect to a smart phone or other device.

Suggested retail is $1,499.00 USD ...

Awesomeness. Give it a year or two and price will be under $1k. Plus all kinks will be ironed out.

However, with all that extra,...would the HUD be a distraction or a help???

I guess I'll have to wait a bit. Someday. I wonder if the spring bike show will have any. I'd love to try one.

I'll be buying a Scorpion Exo-GT3000 in a couple weeks. Paired with that will be a Sena bluetooth headset.
