  • midnight special restrictor

Someone on another message board is restoring a midnight special-is there a restriction in the vacuum line? Does it matter where the vacuum line attaches to on these? The one guy says intake boot.Is that correct?

If they are talking about the vacuum advance vacuum line then it ABSOLUTLY MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE #2 CARB. That port on the carb has the restrictive built into it already. If it is on the intake boot it will not function propperly.

If they are talking about the vacuum line for the octy then it is connected to the intake boot.
