Everything and anything is a copy/replica of something else, made in China. I read the review of the piggyback shocks made by two other manufacturers. Nothing to rave about.1979 XS1100F

Hi Ian,
If you or any others are interested in performance suspension, which costs more than most are willing to fork out, I've recently been researching the following sites and then some, for my SF:
XScellent tech reads on Race Tech and Works Suspension sites.
Progressive Suspension site lacks info IMHO.
If one would want to go all out and treat their baby right, I beleive one would get the best result by picking their favorite suspension vendor, that'll work with them to set the bike up for their personal preferences.1980 XS1100G "Dolly G" Full Dresser (with a coat of many colors

I have Progressive Suspension shocks on my bike. They're relatively inexpensive and they work. I won't likely buy them again. I don't care for progressive springs and there is no help from Progressive getting the right spring.
Considering you can spend more on shock than the bike cost, I have to cross some of those off. There are some very good price point shocks on the market and you can get help selecting the proper spring rate. Look to YSS, Hagon, and Bitubo. Mike Pittman recently commented on Bitubo he sourced from Traxxion Dynamics. Good stuff isn't going to happen at $89, IMHO. I'm looking for performance that exceeds OEM specs.
